Find truth. That is my north star. My path here started long before film school.
Filmmaking first grabbed me back in middle school, shooting a film for a school project. One of those moments that quietly sets the direction for everything after it. By the time I got to Full Sail, I already knew storytelling was what I wanted to build a career around.
After graduating, I spent my early years putting that training to work at production houses and agencies across the country. From Oklahoma, Michigan, Virginia and Wisconsin, to Missouri and Florida among others. That range early on gave me a broad foundation: broadcast commercials, long-form and short-form content, social, trade show, and digital work. Different formats, different audiences, different constraints but always the same core responsibility; finding the truth in every story.
Sixteen years later, that's still what drives me. Storytelling has shaped nearly every decision I've made, professionally and personally; including a growing passion for acting. Working through character, objective, and emotional truth as a performer has changed how I think about pacing, performance, and honesty in the edit bay.
So whether I get to collaborate on a 30-second brand spot or something more personal, my goal in every edit, is always to find the truth.
